Digital manufacturing processes in crafts

The team Creative Hubs & Labs of the matrix has a workshop "Digital Manufacturing Processes" with the partner Vital Center HODEY KG, an orthopedic workshop. The conclusion of the Hodey employees: Now we dare to work with the presented digital manufacturing processes. The focus was on getting to know and trying out the digital embroidery machine, which played a central role in our joint project in creating a smart monitoring and feedback sole. In addition to theoretical content, we have embroidered a matrix on fabric, which can be used with conductive threads to measure pressure. With this workshop, we accompanied a company from the handicraft sector in the next step of using more digital production processes in the workshop. But what is most important: we all had a lot of fun and a successful day with many aha moments!
